There were some rough sketches of this art work that didn't get shown. Not because I didn't want to but because since this is a painting, I kinda painted over it. There were a lot of decisions going about the colors and her hair style. I know that the first two frames had hair styles that represented PB more. However, since this is a combination of PB and Mamimi, I thought it'd be better to have short hair instead of a ponytail.
There are a lot of subtle fixes; like her legs, the placement of her head, and her hands. Her legs I shrunk in length cuz it was getting anatomically awkward. Then the placement of her head was fixed because her neck was some what nonexistent and out of place. Her face had the most issues in the beginning, and I fixed it along the way. Apparently, I have this issue of making people's faces cut off that my eyes couldn't see. So I borrowed a friend's eye and he pointed out most of the problem.
I don't usually work in black and white and then move to color, but I thought it'd be cool to try that approach couple of times. I had fun. I hope this helped you in some way.
I've never new how this "grey-scale" and then painting over it thing works... :I Anyways, I think you did an amazing job, I love the final result, specially the face, since the other was a bit more... sharp, while in the last one she looks more round, and I think it fits her more.
